I listen to a great deal of audio. During my commute, Iâ€™m listening to podcasts. At workâ€”if I can help itâ€”musicâ€™s on. When I go for walks by myself, Iâ€™m usually listening to podcasts or occasionally music. I really donâ€™t spend much time in silence. Iâ€™m starting to think that maybe I should change that. Appropriately enough, while out for a walk tonight I was listening to a Back to Work episode where Dan Benjamin talks about seeing a therapist for anxiety issues. He would exercise, but always had headphones on. The therapist said take the headphones off.
