I baked my first banana bread today. When I go grocery shopping on a Sunday, I get very optimistic about the amount of bananas I’ll eat in a week. I figure I’ll have one every day at work. This happens. Monday and Tuesday. By Wednesday I end up with a banana just sitting on my desk. And it remains there until Friday. So a week passes by and I still have a few bananas, slowly turning brown, in the kitchen. So I made some banana bread. With chocolate chips (as you do). And then I spread butter on it, naturally.
