When I was younger—I don’t remember what age, but I believe it was in elementary school, or perhaps earlier—I took speech lessons because I had troubles enunciating (or something). They worked.

But now I feel like I’m regressing. I find myself unintentionally slurring words. I thought this was because I’m thinking several words or even sentences ahead of what’s coming out of my mouth. But I’m starting to think that’s not the (only) reason. So I’m trying to talk slower. Added bonus: I have more time to consider my words, so I’m less likely to say something foolish.
